Hospital treatments (diagnostics and procedures)

is conducted in European Health CenterOtwock, Hospital is named after Fryderyk Chopina (ECZ Otwock). It is the first institution in Poland to receive the accreditation of the Ministry of Health to conduct the Clinic of the CMKP (Medical Center for Postgraduate Education) granting education to postgraduate medical staff. A biggest advantage of the institution is its location in the surrounding of spruce forest. Park space creates a place of silence, peace, which is an added value in the diagnosis, therapy and convalescence for each patient.

Comfortable 1 and 2 rooms

Patients are hospitalized in comfortably furnished 1 and 2 rooms with bathrooms and also with a life-monitoring system, so the medical staff is always checking on the patients well being.

Diagnostics

ECZ Otwock Diagnostic imaging departmant is equipped with: 3-Tesla Magnetic Resonance with dual RF transmitter, 3D mammography with tomosynthesis (3D). This department also includes Computer Tomograph and digital x-ray DigitalDiagnost machine (automatic image combining), the ALLURA Philips digital angiography designed for hybrids procedures, and the top of the line USG Dopplers also with sonoelastography.

Operation Block / Surgery

We offer surgical treatmentsaccording to the world's best standards,used in surgical oncology and laparoscopic surgery. Treatments are held on the Operation Block which consists of 3 modernly equipped theaters, a wake-up facility and a postoperative department. The highly qualified team of operators of the Urological Clinic and the Oncology Surgery Department can perform classical open surgery and minimally invasive surgical procedures - laparoscopic, and also using the only devices in Poland for the cryoablation of tumors or minimally invasive prostate cancer treatment called HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound).

Clinic of the Pulmonary and Thromboembolism works closly with The Hemodynamics / Intervention Radiology department. The clinic has the largest experience in Poland in the treatment of thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension with the use of transcutaneous pulmonary angioplasty. Pioneering treatments of this type were done, for the first time in Poland, in 2013, and in 2014 by the team of prof. Adam Torbicki who had been awarded with "ZłotySkalep" award by PulsMedycyny for the most important innovations in Polish health care system.

Intesive Care Unit and Crisis Intervantion Unit

Highly qualified staff of the ECZ Otwock Intensive Care Unit provides patients after surgical treatment with continuous observation, vital function support, 24-hours watch and comfort. Doctors of anesthetics perform anesthesia with all methods available in modern anesthesia.

Thromboembolic Diseases CMKP operates on the basis of Cardiology Department of the European Health CenterOtwock. This department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary embolism, venous thrombosis, cardiac arrhythmias and various forms of pulmonary hypertension. It consists of 4 Intensive Care Unit bads and 18 beds with telemetric monitoring capability.
